What's been going on man I've been off the computer and in the garage for some time it's warm and my fucking bike is not done....I bought a vintage camper and been throwing my time to since I'm waiting on a cam gear puller for the Trump eng. To much to do no fuckin' time to do it all. Just thought I'd say hey.....Ellis

Yo Mikey, how ya doing.
Here's a little update on the jockeyshift/handclutch setup. Motorcycle cops caught me speeding and checked out te bike. Not having a right mirror on a bike that is manufactured after 1997 is illegal over here (hell i got no place for a right mirror)and the hand/clutch shift freaked him out completley. Had to trailer the bike home, wasn't allowed to ride it anymore. They said i was endangering all road users, hahahaha, like riding a bike in traffic ain't a fight for your life everyday. Just kept polite to the bastards cause i was also wearing an illegal helmet and not to mention eveything else on the bike that's not excactley legal.
So i'm back riding footshift for the moment, don't want them to take in my bike or licence, not to mention the cost of the fines. Yes sir, welcome to the free states of the European Union.

Been riding for over 30 years and feel like a rookie now, gotta learn all over again. It puts riding in a complete new perspective. Never before i had an adrenaline rush this big when putting it into first gear, slipped the clutch and taking my feet from the ground. Gotta have respect for everybody that rides with a setup like this, in particular those who ride it in combination with 16" apes.
As King Leonidas said in "300": WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOR EVER. hahahahaha!

You're right, it's a Sporty setup. Did not tiewrap the cable to the bar because this way it has a smooth bent, besides it is jammed behind the footpeg bracket so it won't move around. Got enough space for my leg, i'm a short fucker. After i took the pic. i smoothed all the sharp edges on the clutchhandle bracket and painted it black again, it doesn't look so bulky now.(put some pics. on my page soon)also changed the rubber grip for cork handlebar tape like they use on racing bicycles, it gives better and stronger grip i think. Finally i took it for a spin this afternoon, hell it's a giant deathtrap. Think this setup is as bad as a jockeyshift with suicideclutch, i must have fucked up my last and only braincel by doing this crazy shit at my age.(lol)

Hi there Mike. Haven't been around here for a while, things to do and crap like that. Just ready foolin' around in the garage. Riding season is coming up so i kept it simple, used 3/4 of an old dragbar, as you can see i hacked of the wrong side (stupid ass!) Gonna ride it for a while just to see how it's holding up in all the traffic jams overhere. If i'm going to like it i will make a more permanent setup next winter, just like you did it. And maybe change the wiring and put the switches to the shifter lever, hell, you put that idea into my head.
Later.
